Pros

Good pay, well managed, great people

Cons

Benefits could be better. Currently no cost, but could be a better plan if employees had option to contribute similar to other CPG companies

Pros

It pays very well (36.5$/h+ possible extra depending on shift) for a student job (or regular). Even better if you do over time (1.5x up to 2x), which happens pretty often. The work itself is not too demanding, but requires learning how to operate the forklift, and requires great physical shape. Compared to other places, supervisors do not stress you to perform fast, but they might ask you to prioritise tasks.

Cons

As a student, you'll have to work on Friday night (10 pm - 8 am schedule), which is brutal; it deregulates your sleeping habits, and you won't recognize yourself after a few years. As a full-time employee, especially at the beginning, you don't always choose which schedules you will be assigned. You might notice your concerns might get lost in bureaucracy, so you need to keep reminding management. As a student, you'll have no seniority over anyone, so the long tasks will be assigned to you, while your older peers might just enjoy the downtime.

Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback. We're glad to hear you found the compensation competitive and appreciated the opportunity to develop new skills. We understand that shift work and scheduling can be challenging, especially for students and new team members, and we’re always looking for ways to improve that experience.
