Pros

You're paid cash daily, but they use that flashy little option to make you think you are making more money when in fact you are getting taken advantage of and making less money. Go work at an actual barbershop, you will be treated better, get paid more than 40% and get better experience/training.

Cons

You only make 40 percent or less of your earnings They take 3% of the total balance of all of your credit card transactions when they should be passing that on to the consumer They make you pay for back bar product daily They don't pay you when they promote you, they expect you to take on extra responsibility for free (keyholders especially) They force you to work 10 to 12 hours a day, they don't let you take breaks to eat and you get in trouble if you do and don't even think about calling off if you're sick. They pay you 5% or less for selling product They hire very inexperienced managers and don't train any of them, throw them into regional positions and expect everyone to wing it CEO is immoral and unethical. Relations with managers, drinking and driving, taking full advantage of the girls you hire.... come on Corporate is not trained in the industry You're worked like a dog and are paid less than minumum wage if you do the math They throw around independent contractor like it's candy when in fact you are not an independent contractor, you work for Lady Jane's. Not yourself. They don't train any of their new hires Managers involve themselves with married CEO to get promoted (my manager went from manager to regional manager within 2 weeks after CEO paid us a visit at our store with no management experience at all) Lots of drama and back biting (typical) They hire extremely inexperienced stylists They fire you after 6 months for no viable reason even if you are a top earner, to use you to build their clientele but tolerate extremely undesirable behavior from stylists (stealing, no call no shows, disrespect towards management) They are very dishonest The turnover rate is beyond ridiculous The allowance of mixing business with pleasure, extremely unprofessional

Pros

getting paid in cash every night was nice

Cons

Incredibly toxic and when you go to management they join in in making it worse, I'd wake up wanting to cry on days I worked. The pay is 40% (20% below industry standard) and you pay 3% for the privilege of using their card machine but don't make that clear in the interview process. they don't treat you like a contractor in the slightest and don't upkeep their salons, half the chairs are broken and they don't do anything to fix them.

Pros

They are advertising that you will have work/life balance. I’m here to tell you I got fired as a full time stylist after years of consistency and not quitting and coming back because I wanted to take vacations. Should’ve taken maternity leave or rehab leave so I could still have my job. Should’ve worked 1-2 days a week so missing one of my 5 days wouldn’t have resulted in my firing. Make sure to kiss managements butt or they will single you out. Make sure you laugh at their jokes and participate in gossip or you’ll be fired for not being a team player.

Cons

You end up staying too long because the money is decent.
