Pros

Land O Lakes has good people working for them. Not only at the corporate level-but also at the outside sales teams. The people in the field and the people in the office generally work pretty well together. Overall a pretty team oriented place with good people.

Cons

Like any organization, you get some bad apples, sales reps that wont work with certain divisions and people that use politics against other divisions. Land O Lakes likes to focus on how much money they save, rather than business development activities that will make the company money. All in all, they love to talk about career advancement, but actually do not like to do this. Once you get put in a category at Land O Lakes, it is extremely difficult to get out of it and advance into other areas.

No potential if you have an intimidating bully for a manager!

Pros

401k with a fair profit sharing program. Offered some good training programs/seminars. Also great post work recruiting program.

Cons

My boss always was negative of my position since the first day I was promoted. Retaliation from an "anonymous" complaint sent to corporate about intimidation he displayed in meetings. Nothing but harassment from other supervisors/workers with nothing but more work loaded on our department. Seems like your an island, that corporate supported their process dream, but not in E.W. area.
