      Benefits and Workplace - Worth It

      Pros

      We get great benefits. Cafeteria has free coffee. Office area is nice (in Arden Hills).

      Cons

      Upper management is not used to change. People can't say what they really think so nothing ever changes.

      Learned a lot here, but would not stay for long

      Pros

      I learned a lot of different things here and had broad responsibilities. Picked up several different skills that could be useful in other fields. Learned to avoid office politics.

      Cons

      Working long hours everyday without weekends for busy seasons, which are very frequent and long throughout the year. Not conducive for a healthy work/life balance. Supervisor is disorganized and does not train effectively, leaving workers to figure out most tasks on their own. There is also too much office politics that create a toxic work environment.

      Pros

      Steady work, competitive pay, and good benefits.

      Cons

      If you start as a new employee, you'll be a floater, and have to learn all the jobs in the plant, training can be a year or longer, all to have the worst job. Management is a joke, most of the senior employees do however much or little they want with no consequences. They run their plants by seniority, yet have no Union.
