Hybrid WFH/in office made some workdays 1 hour shorter. A long commute is inevitable.

Cons

Employee Services/HR is poor at retaining talent.

Pros

There’s a lot to love about the company. The values are great. You make great product the customer will love, teams rely on collaborative teamwork that keeps the job interesting, easy going and real with you CEO. The flexibility is great and the people do really make the job.

Cons

Since the people make the job, the managers who hold you back and mistreat you will make it harder. Very little room for career growth and pay increases, and leadership looks the other way when employees are too burnt out from teams being severely understaffed.

Pros

You will get a paycheck(albeit compensation that does not compensate you well for the ridiculous demands expected of you, and more are being added all the time ) Small work campus is fairly well maintained. Onsite fitness center.

Cons

Nonexistent work-life balance,(mandated to work up to 6 months of the year working possibly 50 hours or more per week including Saturdays. It seems an ever-increasing number of workers are denied vacation time when requested ( requests are held until just before the time requested . Sometimes hours before the time being aked off before being approved or denied . Thus you're unable to make plans or necessary arrangements) thus forcing workers to use vacation time at times they don't want it or lose it. Including requests for time off for such things as medical appointments Poor benefits ( prorated sick, vacation and holiday pay slanted enormously in favor of the company) for an international company. Expensive health insurance with very high out-of-pocket costs (by many companies definitions the coverage would be known as catastrophic insurance. Single individuals are truly hit extraordinarily hard with out-of-pocket costs and premiums. Unqualified departmental leadership with attitudes that engage in obvious displays of favoritism, personal bias, a lack of team-building skills, as well as unprofessionalism that appears to be held to very low levels of accountability. Leaders also seem to lack skills in managing people, creating and implementing departmental policies, as well as ensuring follow through on departmental and general company policies. A lack of fair and balanced work in all areas for all workers. It would also appear that those in charge are either unwilling or don't know how to confront workers and deal with dishonesty in the workplace. I believe that almost no opportunities for advancement exist. (this is where you come to end your work career not build it. I also believe that many see this as I do as a dead-end place to work with a terrible lack of consistency in the way you run your business Employees should also forget about the employee services /HR department as a whole their interest is geared toward the companies interests, not the employees' interest based upon my personal experience.
