Unprofessional, petty & toxic work environments

Pros

The company likes to think they're an employee's choice kind of company. So they do offer a couple perks, like a free on-site gym & half day Fridays during the summer. The small perks, however, to not make up for the negatives of working in this company.

Cons

You are treated like a child - your every movement you make and decision you make is questioned and challenged. It's even to a point where you talk to your cubicle neighbor and your bosses remind you to keep quiet and get back to work. Literally like an elementary school environment. Your bosses are just that - bosses, not leaders. You will never be told whether or not you're doing a good job, even during a review - in which you will not get a raise during, as the company has not given them in years. You are not in an environment of growth - if you want to grow, you're best going to another company.

Pros

Great fitness center. Overall great people to work with. 40% employee discount.

Cons

Poor communication and technology is out-dated in many areas. Still linked to Sears, which has dragged the company down. No bonus in past 5 years. No training for employees. Current CFO has been the reason for many people leaving the company.
