Many students here really want to learn, although may need extra help because they are 1st generation to college, speak English as 2nd language, or face obstacles to learning. Friendly and helpful staff and colleagues. Very useful professional development. Pay for adjuncts is about the same as at comparable colleges. Great for extra income. Good communication across the campus.

Cons

Class size must be fairly large or class will be cancelled. Hard to get full-time position (depending on department).
