      Pros

      If you want to punch the clock, settle for mediocrity, want to work at 50%, and have an invisible CEO and President - this is a great place for you to hide.

      Cons

      The CEO never met with one customer or partner while I was there. He never addressed the team to share vision, strategy, quarterly updates, or even a simple holiday message. The President has no direct reports, doesn't do anything, and only met with 1 partner that I know of while I was there. No one provides any leadership, coaching, professional development, or career paths. If you want to work for an Enterprise SaaS company, there are other great companies and this should be at the bottom of your list.

      Better than a poke in the eye

      Pros

      If you need a job, it is one. If you're about to graduate from a computer science or engineering program (even biochem) and are interested in software or software sales, it's a foot in the door. 401k is generous, but profit sharing, so if the company isn't making as much, your match won't be as high.

      Cons

      - very low compensation for the industry - pre-COVID, did not allow telework except under extreme, pre-approved circumstances -- many in mgmt do NOT like telework and it will probably phase out if the virus is ever under a semblance of control - no diversity - incredible nepotism - focus on sales over actually making software - no ethics regarding who customers are or what customers request

      Pros

      - Collaborative, genuinely kind coworkers who support each other - Generous healthcare & dental benefits, outstanding 401k match - Compensation is good, especially when factoring in health benefits - Little micromanagement - Currently investing heavily in overhauling infrastructure and upgrading outdated technology - Opportunities for mentorship and career growth - Both of my managers have advocated for my success within the organization - Good work/life balance in terms of hours per week - good for those with families . - Free lunch served daily including healthy options, office stocked with snacks - Interesting work and projects - you're encouraged to suggest new ideas - Extracurriculars: social clubs, fun activities, lunch & learns, yoga - Overall, the company truly cares about you as a person and takes care of its employees

      Cons

      - Poor communication between departments - Conservative culture which can be resistant to change and lacking outside perspective - Glitchy legacy systems still in place for certain processes - Experience varies a lot depending on your chain of command and department - Ad hoc requests from upper management can throw off established strategy and overwhelm an already full plate
