      Pros

      The environment was very academic and you could really tell that everyone there was there for a specific reason. I learned a great deal from my PI and other members of the team were always willing to help if I needed it at all.

      Cons

      Plays off the pro really--if you are not at LBL to pursue something that you are genuinely interested in, then it will be difficult to stay focused here. There is not much to offer aside from the lab itself, as I worked in an Emeryville portion of the lab and not on the hill itself.
