Pros

Look, it's a job and the industry is cool. If you work in one of the "Tech" roles, you'll get paid pretty well and you get to work on a booming platform.

Cons

Every company has good parts and bad parts and most of the time it depends on who runs your department. In this case, the problems are not addressed and are swept under the rug, or they wait until the employee that complained quits (or they let them go for "other reasons"). Your employees want to stay at their job! They want to enjoy it! But you're making it really hard. The pandemic has changed the way we work, yet we still have no real plan for how to move forward. People aren't sure if they're working remotely forever or if they're going to come back 5 days a week. And the only reason we don't have a formal policy yet is because the People Team knows the moment they release it, there will be a mass exodus and they're not ready for this type of turnover. And SPEAKING OF THE PEOPLE TEAM, nearly the entire team is less than 6 months old and is somehow making company-wide decisions. Would you want the fate of your work-wellness in the hands of a whole team younger than the pandemic itself? This is not a warning to not work at the company. If you're a prospective hire, you'll probably have a great time with onboarding and our benefits. But there are a fleet of employees that have been here for YEARS and they're pissed off. People Team, if you're reading this (and I know you are, because you asked us to write positive reviews to push ones like these down), your turnover won't get any better unless you start actually talking to employees instead of each other. There are a handful of "committees" and "focus groups" and "task forces", yet the only progress I've seen is from the LAST people team when they managed to get better healthcare for us (which, I'm counting my days until that goes away too). It's all talk, no action, and it's the reason why people are leaving. LeafLink is successful because a lot of reps have great relationships with our clients and a lot of clients love the platform. The company is PACKED with talent that is underpaid while doing 5 different jobs. The only team that gets the proper credit is Engineering, and the rest of us are left to sell, market, and operate a company that doesn't give anything back.
