Pros

Some of the most hardworking and fun teams I've ever had the chance to work with. Great ERGs and "team building" events. Benefits weren't bad either, NYC office is gorgeous, loved my experience with my team and the remote-first approach. There are truly some gems of humans that have been hired (emphasis on some).

Cons

The management team lacks diversity---most men, mostly white and almost no women. For an organization that claims to want to do the work to unpack the misrepresentation of diverse groups and restorative justice of the cannabis industry, where is the evidence to show for it? Why are there mostly white, cis-male or both at the highest leadership levels? Is that equitable or diverse? No. That's a part of the problem, be the change or stop speaking about it. There's also lack of transparency across many different fronts. People quit left and right 60+ percent of the organization (of 300 people) have been employees for less than a year and a half. It's concerning, making it so much more challenging for the recruitment team (they're rockstars but I feel bad for them). It's exhausting and teams will continue to lose amazing people if they don't begin to address the real issue which is the poor leadership to begin with.

Pros

- Clear vision as to where the company is going and what we're trying to achieve - Destination company holiday parties - Celebrate wins together, team goals - Collaborative and supportive environment - Work from home or office, whichever suits you best - Individual contributions matter a great deal, suggestions for improvement and/or changes are taken seriously - Company supplies a laptop - Lots of autonomy!

Cons

Growing pains typical of a startup that's becoming really successful really quickly: - Not everything is figured out - Some things and people that were fine early on, needed to go (this is actively being addressed, kudos to management) - Policies can change quickly and announcements aren't always the best (Headquarters is in NYC, more applicable to people working in other offices) - Training is relatively minimal. You coming in either knowing how to do your job or you figure it out pretty quick.

Pros

Some of the best people I’ve worked with.

Cons

Overstepped their reach with markets across the country and Should have stayed focus on a handful of markets. Their c-suite is disconnected from the rest of the management team and employees
