Cons

some of the HR supervisors and the principals are just plain rude and so not care about kids

You get holidays off. You might get to work with some cool people.

Cons

You get ran into the ground with irrelevant work that distracts from your actual job, teaching. The students are only a number in this district.

Pros

If you don't like your co-worker, don't worry, they won't be around long. Same thing with Principals and Asst Principals.

Cons

1) A few people control everything. Admin doesn't listen to anyone else, even though they brag that they do. 2) New Superintendent is bringing in systems based on "voodoo" (unproven) research 3) benefits continue to decline 4) you'll be forced to serve on teams, committees, and run after school programs without any additional pay.
