Growing district that still tries for a small town feel.

Cons

Their systems have not kept up with the times. Nor do they value the support staff enough. We are going to wither and die if we don't upgrade our technology and provide well trained staff to support our phenomenal teachers.

Pros

Everyone working there is nice. Fun place to be a teacher.The students were diverse and needed good teachers. District content specific management was excellent.

Cons

Salary is pretty good before you are forced to take their insurance, which is about 1/5 of your pay. They only have plans that start with $2,000 out of pocket. Not a viable option for a single income for a family.

Pros

Great parents and supportive community nice facilities. Most principals are supportive but there are a few that are just not as socially aware as they should be in a position that requires a great deal of interaction with the public.

Cons

Teacher burnout is high. No work /life balance for elementary teachers. Few young teachers are being hired and when they are, they leave the profession quickly.
