Pros

Paycheck cash whilst I look for a new company.

Cons

They will tell you when they recruit you about all the great things they are working on. That the future is bright at Lee. Don’t fall for it. Once you are hired you realize. Whoops...I made a big career mistake, the turnover is high and everyone working here is fearful of losing their jobs. It like existing without soul. For good reason. The management spends most of its time looking a people to lay off. They will lay you off when you are at dinner with your family, on vacation, wherever and whenever. Sadly, they seem to enjoy it.

Pros

Good people at the local level. Decent health benefits.

Cons

Poor management that only cared about getting their bonuses. Priorities changed radically from quarter to quarter. Low pay. Benefits got worse and worse. Only thing that matters is cutting costs to the bone to pay off massive debt caused by Mary Junck.

Despicable management

Pros

Great coworkers but little else positive

Cons

Reporters often required/expected to work more than 40 hours a week, but not get OT. Instead, they get time-owed credit, but it is not paid at 1.5x as legally required. After working 12 consecutive days, was called on day off and notified position was eliminated after having been there for two decades. Was not allowed to return to the building to collect my belongings. Only gave one star for overall rating because it wouldn't allow me to give zero stars.
