Great benefits, unlimited sick time (for lawyers), casual office environment and family-like staff.

Cons

Poor supervision, high caseloads, support staff very poorly paid (lawyers paid marginally better). Lack of respect for staff by upper management, nepotism is an issue. Little room for advancement.

Pros

Given this is a non-profit organization, obviously the mission and work done here can be inspiring. The poorest citizens are given access to quality legal advocacy at no cost. People are saved from debt collectors, evictions, and medical debt. Additionally, the Guardian ad Litem program assists abused, abandoned, and neglected children

Cons

As the title implies, you may bring a lot of big ideas and high hopes, but you will receive very little support. This company is very backward and old-fashioned in their approaches to fundraising. There is no online presence. It is not seen as a necessity. Very little opportunity for growth unless you go to law school. A lot of nepotism going on.
