Pros

Work life balance, Birthday off

Cons

Leadership has no idea what they are doing and do not empower their teams. Everyone is micromanaged even though they say they are Agile, which is a complete joke and eveyone laughs when leaderships says we are Agile. They burn out their employees but do not care because they will just offshore their positions to companies that deliver bad quality and onshore has to fix it. Run.

Pros

Extremely good work/life balance. If you like to put in short hours and rarely work outside of normal hours this is the place to be!

Cons

IT group is extremely siloed. IT tickets sitting open for litterally months. I just saw one that still wasn't resolved after 9 months. Many of these customer impacting. No care to solve core problems, preferences for bandaids and duct tape and one-off fixes as they are less work. Everyone is "tenured" (they don't fire people) so there is a ton of dead weight. Culture is bad. I survived a coup in a prior companies IT group. They had a better culture. Everything is reactive, no serious planning is done. Sr. Mgmt micromanages things to an extreme.

Pros

-Employee Engagement -Company Culture -Colleague Collaboration -Corporate Learning -Food LegalZoom does a good job of trying to keep people happy. I believe they truly care about their employees (most of management) and they will do their best to keep employee morale high.

Cons

-Greedy Company -No Transparency -Lazy Management -Politics I have never seen a company so greedy for money without trying to improve customer service first. They have a great brand, but this all they rely on to remain as a leader in the industry. Eventually, I suspect that the market will realize other companies that truly care about their customers first and it will be impossible for LegalZoom to compete. They have dug themselves a hole so deep, all they can focus on is how they can squeeze another dollar (or $300) from each customer.
