Pros

Benefits: insurance and stock are good. Depending on which department working in salary is good. Current employees and the ones that have left the company are great

Cons

Company has too many branches that do not share common goal or mission statement to project a vision for employees. Too many chiefs in operations that are not on the same page, no vision, and lack communication. Operations has a huge turn over due to employees being over worked and department being short staffed. There is no training and daily duties change from day to day.

Pros

If you want to work for a company which holds integrity and honesty as core values then Leggett & Platt is not the company for you. If you want to be rewarded for hard work and loyalty then find work somewhere else.

Cons

Nepotism, dishonesty, boys club (females need not apply except for clerical work), skill and talent is not rewarded or promoted, only dumb and easily controlled people are.

Pros

Nice people to work with - for some reason it seems once people hire on they stay forever. Maybe because they're local and don't want to change jobs/move??

Cons

They are notorious for LOW PAY and everything is very antiquated. The software used for all functions is extremely outdated. You have to enter data, re-enter data, then write everything down in 4 places....nothing is automated. The structure of the company is very random, you never know who to go to for what so everyone works on the same tasks as CYA. It was so frustrating that I resigned after just 3 weeks. Oh, and you'll work lots of unpaid overtime because they put staff on salary then require lots of extra time, including saturdays.
