Pros

Great colleagues Pleasant working environment

Cons

Lemonade claims to adhere to work ethics and moral values within the company, but after several years with the organization, I can only partially confirm it. The management has, unfortunately, also failed in its long-term strategic vision. After an incredibly great first few years, the leadership decided to expand to countries and products in an unprofessional manner that jeopardized the employees' job security and cut the share price by more than 80%. Despite the highest expectations, LMND's poor insurance product received the worst European rating and could not compete with other competitors. Products such as Life, Pet, and Car drive the loss ratio so high that the company can hardly recover from it. In addition, the company offers little opportunity for employees to grow or advance in their careers. That they are now laying off numerous employees who have worked very hard for years to grow the company is a continuation of this disappointing leadership decision. Particularly shocking is a case where an employee, fired after years of service, notified the company a month earlier that his wife had cancer.
