The culture at Lemonade is unlike any other job I have ever worked for in corporate America. Everyone who works here has an amazingly positive attitude, is always willing to help one another, and truly cares about our customers. Since Day 1 I have felt nothing but supported and valued and have also gained so much knowledge not only about insurance but social impact, fighting for justice, and not being afraid to stand up for what is right! To say I love working here is the understatment of the year.

Pros

The company is truly a family. Everyone is willing to help each other and reach out when someone needs guidance. The culture is something out of a movie. Many of the offices have fun parties and events to grow the bond between employees. The benefits are awesome and there are stock options! Overall, Lemonade is a great place to work with many opportunities for growth.

Cons

Being a start-up, people tend to wear many hats. Sometimes you are asked to go above and beyond to help a customer which is just the nature of the game. Working from home also has its pros and cons.

I love working at this company! The environment is completely different than the big legacy carriers. This company really cares about the employees and mental health. This company really does care about the customers. The most amazing thing about this company is how much they give back to the community. They do not keep the profits to themselves instead they give back to the community!! How crazing is that! If you are thinking about working here or applying do not hesitate. I highly recommended it.

Cons

The con to working at this company is you don't get commissions or bonuses however I rather have a good work life balance than yearly bonuses.
