Pros

TL;DR come to Lemonade if you want to do good, get sh!t done, and meet some incredible people. - My direct team: I've never worked with more thoughtful and empathetic people. They are all so creative and driven, and they move at lightning speed to make policies, processes, situations, etc. better. This is an "HR" team to actually write home about. Truly incomparable to others. The company: 1. The "I want the people I did group projects with to lower me into my grave so they can let me down one last time" meme does not exist here. I work cross-functionally with people that every single day leave their work in better shape than how they found it. 2. We live and breathe our mission: to transform insurance from a necessary evil into a social good. As someone on a team that doesn't work directly on the social impact team or directly help our customers, I still get to experience the impact of our business's work throughout the year. I get to work on projects that overlap with our social impact, volunteer with my coworkers at local nonprofits, and hear from our Giveback charity partners in monthly lunch and learns. It's such a good feeling to get up close and personal with the charities and people we're helping. 3. The people at Lemonade are truly special. Shout out to TA - thanks to their cultivation of teams, I've met some of my best friends here.

Cons

Not a "con" per say - just note that is the type of environment in which you are moving and shaking things. Things are constantly being iterated on, and you are learning and trying new stuff. Definitely not the place to come and just 'coast'.

Pros

-B-Corp and social impact makes you feel extra good about what Lemonade is doing -Make a positive impact on the insurance industry and help customers in difficult times of their lives -Creative ideas are encouraged and people get really excited about doing things differently -Suggestions are welcomed from everyone (even if leadership decides to go in a different direction - they'll listen to what you have to say) -No red-tape, no bureaucracy -Global company and the chance to learn about other cultures and make friends with people all over the world -Female leadership all the way up and including the C-suite -Very fast, roll up your sleeves, get sh*t done way of working -Really brilliant and genuine people -Leaders within the company give back by mentoring and teaching professional development workshops

Cons

-Internal infrastructure still in development, still some startup-y ways of doing things (ex: no internal wiki outside of customer org) -Time zone and different work weeks (ex: Israel is Sunday - Thursday, US is Monday - Friday) means you have to set your own boundaries around when you're available
