Pros
1) ability to work from home either permanently or as needed 2) great starting pay 3) flexibility in schedule (I was able to request and get time off even if I asked for it on short notice) 4) immediate supervisors are great... you can air your frustrations and they will go to bat for you if there is a problem... they also cheer you on and praise you for helping others
Cons
1) remote employees are treated as second class citizens (if there's some sort of event like a food day or something like that, we are not included... not even a gift certificate to get some lunch from a restuarant even through they promised 2) they don't give you the tools to succeed... I have a non-working phone, a network card that doesn't work, I can't print from my company provided computer (I have to send things to my home computer and print from there). I've talked to IT and screamed bloody murder about it but got nothing. 3) they promise the sun and moon to their clients without any thoughts as to how they might logistically provide it so when these promises get broken, we get browbeat by the client about it 4) they promise things to their employees upon hiring that never happen. They told us we would get bonuses every time we made our monthly numbers. I never saw one! They also preach the 'work/life' balance bit but yet for the past 5 weeks, we've been on mandatory overtime.
