Pros

Overall the company is decent to work for. Good benefits and fair amount of paid time off. The mgmt style is very hands off which is fine for the good employees but it leaves the non-productive workers unchecked. This results in less than stellar homes being delivered. They attempt "fun" get togethers but it all seems so forced.

Cons

The problem with the Philly-Metro Division is that they play favorites to a few non productive individuals who they have worked with in the past at other builders. The Div. Pres. tries to be one with the people but his efforts are embarrassing and not at all in touch. The more Tench (div pres) tries the more we all cringe. Less than half of the Construction Managers care about their final product leaving the warranty people to deal with whatever they didn't want to address. This sets up an adversarial relationship between Lennar warranty and the homeowners. Causing an overall frustrating situation for the new homeowner. The Customer Care Manager is weak so the department relies on our punchout crews to try and correct issues as best they can while paying them and not holding the problem contractors to resolve their issues and course correct for the future. Maybe have both Construction and Warranty punch a clock to know who actually shows up daily would help. It seems so 1990s but the field people seem to do drive byes vs managing their sites. Unhappy homeowners who flag you down the second you drive on to a site starting the day off horribly.
