Pros

Strong money maker business thanks to a high growth market. Lean operations minimizing the risks, construction is fully outsourced, lean construction supply chain and +27% Gross Margin.

Cons

The company has been investing in the business for the sake of the investors but not enough in people. The C-Level was missing a CTO, CHRO and Co-CEO for years. There is no technology innovation, systems are 30 years with very low automation. There is a lack of HR fundamentals such as salary homogenization, performance management, talent management, training programs, career planning, expensive health insurance. Over the years we could feel the impacts on the IT department and the employees.

Pros

You get out of it what you put in. Trust the process. You will learn how to build a house in your sleep if you are new to industry. They treat you fairly on salary and bonus when you’re dedicated. If you’re satisfied with your salary only, this is not the company for you. You will always have enough homes.

Cons

Fast paced, high stress, carrying a lot of homes with no end in sight. Not everyone is cut out for this job. You have to enjoy the pressure to succeed.
