Pros

Used to pay better than other companies in Miami. Health benefits are good (bit pricey though). Some people are genuinely great.

Cons

The amount of men in positions they are not qualified for is insulting. There's a weird number of them who are in leadership positions who have never even done what the job entails, and it shows in the decisions they make. The parental leave is in the dark ages and there's a big focus on being in office while you take your Teams meetings with coworkers and clients across the country.

Pros

Good benefits and 401k match

Cons

Lennar VA was a great place to work before the merge into Mid - Atlantic. The new director of construction has definitely never been in the field and has no understanding of what really goes on day to day or how things work. He is just a bottom line puppet. Also very limited room for growth and you won’t be promoted no matter how well you do or how hard you work. If you’re doing a good job they’ll think of reasons to keep you in that same position instead of advancing you. Upper management will look down on you and think they’re better than everyone because of their title. The mentality of treating the ceo and the janitor the same does not apply here anymore at all. Unfortunate because it used to be a great culture before the merge of VA/WV into the mid-atlantic. They also are letting investors buy up the majority of communities to rent out. Many of their neighborhoods they do not care about homebuyers and community feel anymore like they used to. Unfortunate to see. Be careful who you trust here.

Pros

Helped a LOT of first time homeowners and bonded with amazing coworkers

Cons

They cut pay, they micromanage, they enjoy lording power over you. The job will take over your life and it isn't worth it for the minimal pay.
