Pros
-Pay is decent, especially if you are in a store that is successful and you’re making consistent commission. However, pay increase is extremely minimal. Raises for my position last year averaged less than 25 cents per hour, and the same raise was given to new employees vs tenured employees. Raises do not align with cost of living increase. -Growth opportunity
Cons
-You are typically required to work weekends and most holidays -Lots of staff turnover and fluctuation of payroll hours depending on time of year, so there are times your manager will demand more hours from you, and other times your hours are being cut. It can be very inconsistent, and non-dependent on performance
