Pros

You can easily find a place to park your car.

Cons

Jeez, where do I start! This agency is a walk back in time, not to the golden years of advertising but to the 1930s. It's completely driven by GM (their only client) and don't they let the agency know it! It suffers from a master/servant relationship that agencies have when they service just one client. And because of this, there is a pervasive culture of fear. Because the clients are so conservative and terrified, this makes the agency the exact same way, where client and agency feel one and the same. There are also managers at LBD who no passion for creative and have no interest in ideas. It's all about good meetings.

Pros

Free food, on occasion, a christmas party that hasn't been litigated out of existence yet. They hire good people, some feel compelled to stay.

Cons

Every account in general run like a sweatshop. Useless old white management they are trying to change but is immovable in the field offices. Rampant drug and alcohol abuse. Alcoholism is extremely common and is codified as part of the corporate culture. Agency losses are constant and made up for by free work from existing employees until they too quit. If you're new, this is going to be you too. The agency suffers from an overall rudderless management scheme for years in which sexual predators, alcoholics, professional jerks and the generally useless survive every purge but lower level employees are sacked without reviews.
