Pros

The benefits are great and the salary is higher than average. LS&CO has some well known brands that are respected internationally.

Cons

There is limited training on topics to help people do their job better. Specifically in Finance, management developed a training program, but it is of little use. Career development or advancement is limited. The trend is to hire outside the company. Ironically, many of the "managers" hired outside of LS&CO lack basic management skills.

Pros

Levi's offers a nice perk like half days off on Friday. They also have a good matching of 401k although I forget the percentage they match up to. Work load at Levi is not so bad for a financial analyst. I was working around 38 hours a week. Probably 45 hours a week during a busy schedule.

Cons

The location of the position is bad. It is way up by Coit Tower. It is about one mile north of Market St. Not too far away from Fisherman's Wharf. A lot of the internal systems Levi uses is outdated and antiquated. I believe they had an SAP integration. Some of these internal software were 20 years old. I know the phones seemed as if they were from the 80's!

Pros

they treat employees well from a benefits perspective

Cons

senior management team not competent. bad decisions are continually made, and the same mistakes made over and over again. there is no accountability at senior levels. there is no drive to perform. there are too many people who aren't good at what they do--at all levels of the company. incompetence is promoted. sweeping changes in leadership needed.
