Pros

company values aligned with my own, strong 401k match and benefits, last Friday of the month is a company holiday (from Jan-Oct)

Cons

required in office twice/week even if all work is effectively done remotely (calls and meetings with non-SF partners) -- shows a lack of trust and old school mentality of face time offices not equipped for RTO -- no video in conference rooms, lack of conference rooms, distracting & loud noise with everyone on headsets for their calls at their desk (open floor space). parking is expensive, cafe is not open, office itself has not been updated so very dark & depressing inside (dusty and dated), not inspiring.

Pros

The benefits were nice and the discount was top tier.

Cons

I had no idea two employees left prior to me starting. One actually reached out to me on LinkedIn and informed me how toxic the environment was. I truly have nothing positive to say. There was no structure to the onboarding process, when I started work my manager was gone for weeks, equipment was not here for months. I’m glad I’m no longer there. It was truly draining and toxic. When the employees out right refer to the manager in a negative manner then you know it’s about to be a mess!

Pros

-work/life balance -autonomy -some perks like the barista on site, discounted gym membership, 401K is great!

Cons

-heavy politics, more about who you know and are friends with versus merit or skills -a lot of old school mentality in upper management utilizing current buzzwords to attain talent
