      The salary was competitive and the experiences and opportunities to advance my career were great.

      Cons

      So. Many. Long. Days. It depends on the venue, but most event days for me started at noon and didn't end until midnight or later. Sometimes 4+ events in a week. Then there was still coming in on dark days to take care of the day-to-day prep stuff like placing orders, reviewing payroll, scheduling, meetings, menu development, etc.
