Pros

Growing company. Most consistent money as far as serving goes. Diverse staff. Opportunity for advancement. Many different venu options available.

Cons

Growing company sometimes means a budget that cant handle the demand. Keeping up with FOH supplies is forever an issue.

Pros

-Many of your coworkers will be hard working -If you are willing to completely give up your personal life and holidays you will be able to move up in the company even if you don't have a college degree -You can "network" your way to a promotion, even if you do not deserve or qualify for the job -Ability to travel and work events around the country -Ability to work high profile events like the Superbowl, Grammys, Kentucky derby -A good place to work as an hourly employee, not a management position

Cons

-Many hours you spend at work will be just to "be there" even when your work is completed -Pressure not to take days off. I have known coworkers to work an entire month with maybe 1 or 2 days off -If you value your family and friends, this is not a good company to work for as you will have no time or energy for them -When you travel to work events you will work very long hours and not see anything but the stadium or arena you are working at -You have to do a lot of paperwork for nothing but "internal processes" that does not seem to end -There never seems to be a break in the constant busy schedule -Many of your hourly employees will make way more money than you do because of their tips -Company does not stay up with technology and this will make your job more difficult

Pros

Overall, great company that offers unlimited personal and professional growth. Relatively competitive salaries. Every property offeres different experiences - traveling within the company is a great way to gain experince and continue to build longevity on your resume. They have great training programs (when they are used), strong focus on alcohol safety (always!), and success - at all costs. Very active in the community.

Cons

Passionate managers are hit and miss. They say their focus is on food, guest experience, family, etc. However, at the end of the day its all about the money - at any expense to the managers. "Team" is a commonly used word, but is not commonly seen - "every man for themselves" is a bit more common. Great company for single people who dont mind long hours and short notice on schedule changes. The passionate "team members" that really care about the guests and other staff members simply get taken advantage of. Community activities are thought highly of and are appreciated, but the company as a whole is not thought highly off in this community.
