Pros

Except for free CEUs and the education part, nothing good!

Cons

Not a good place to work, very biased and bad work culture, they expect coders to work like slaves without proper breaks, no appreciation whatsoever and no respect! Some of the mangers I worked with were the worst, they’re coders who were promoted for reasons no one can understand as half of the time they didn’t even have a clue about what clients policies were and even coding guidelines to that matter! They would lie for just about everything! It’s hilarious! Working in this company is high stress and no time for anything as there’s constant micromanaging unrealistic demands, emails and nitpicking! They have coders working from different part of the world at a different time zone and so by the time you access the work queue, it’s an absolute mess and you are left with what they couldn’t code! What a shame, I would not recommend this place to anyone! There’s absolutely NO growth no matter how hard you work and no recognition at all! End of the day, you want to work for a company with good work ethics, one that values your work and treats you with respect! Lexicode is not one of those companies! I’d look elsewhere!

Pros

First, be advised they over-hire, even when they don't have the clients. Meanwhile, you get paid to review dated education videos (all about the books) and might get assigned to the client associated with UHC, with its unrealistic demands, and may easily get benched during the long, 4 week QA review process. Oh no wait - they lost that client!

Cons

Micromanagement : you get a manager, a company employed client manager, (may or may not be a coding manager) and guess what--a client manager! You'll get last minute demands for calls using Google Meet (horrible meeting app) with people whom you don't know. They are well-known for a very long and dated Quality Review process where auditors complete charts before you respond, and until recently, you may be Unpaid for the time you spend on those reviews. In several months, I have actually coded for about 2 weeks. Both assignments, they lost the client, but blame the coder. This is not the place to work for an experienced coder with strong technology skills.
