Pros

Reed seems to value loyalty quite a bit. So much so, that every week seems to have another employee anniversary celebration. Once a year, Reed throws an employee appreciation day. Decent amount of paid holidays and at times, management will grant early leave around specific holidays like Thanksgiving and The 4th of July. However, this flex time is completely dependent upon data entry/production work with time tables. In house restaurant and some other amenities.

Cons

Welcome to corporate America 101 headquarters, where the red tape and bureaucracy runs rampant. Every project seems to involve 5 different managers for approval. Can you say too many chefs in the kitchen! It can be down right frustrating to please that many people and often feels like an impossible feat. Management seems open to employee feedback, but are slow to act, if they do at all. Everyone seems to be offended by something there. Seriously, even B101 music might lead to several HR complaints. Raises are standard around 1 - 2 % unless you work your life away and somehow manage to score a 1 on your employee review, which might get you 3 percent.

Pros

Lots of freedom for creative and skilled IT professionals working on various projects, room for advancement and training. Working from home. Good work-life balance.

Cons

Confused business and project managers with little or no directions given to developers straggling with constantly changing requirements. Very hard to get job done often with lots of frustration, taking way much longer time than needed. Lots of incompetent bureaucrats and ever expanding bureaucracy. Slow in accepting new technologies.
