      High School all over again

      Pros

      Great benefits. Good Hours. If you are good at kissing up and inflating every little thing you do then this might be the place for you.

      Cons

      It is High School all over. There is a small group of Senior Management who control everything (funds, reviews,what gets done etc.). They are not looking at ways to improve the bottom line but how to kiss up to Jim Peck. Don't get me wrong, I know you have to keep your boss happy but please take a chance sometimes....don't just stick with the same old way.... Senior Management does not stand up for the people below them--not a good way to build trust.

      Pros

      You will have plenty of opportunities to shine in the organization, you just got to rise to the occasion. The CEO of LexisNexis Risk Solutions really wants to make a positive difference & create an inclusive culture. However, the leaders under the CEO do not always carry the same message or fervor to their teams.

      Cons

      Toxic work culture. Senior leadership overlooks inappropriate behavior in favor of prioritizing work performance. Inclusion is just a buzz word and not practiced. Even after providing thorough documentation and evidence to senior leadership on bad behaviors in the organization, nothing is done. Mental health is impacted.

      Pros

      Great place to coast, make excuses and collect a paycheck. Wouldn't recommend to women or people of color. Must be a middle–aged bald white Republican.

      Cons

      Lots of time spent worrying about performative ways to look like we're working rather than actually working. Incompetent middle management "lifers". Fairly clear that management is close minded and desirous of approval from other right wing, FOX News enthusiasts. Also, I'm a conservative, but these folks are downright backward. Great place to work if you want to know what it was like to be work in software engineering in the 20th Century.
