Pros

You get a paycheck and some expensive insurance with poor coverage.

Cons

Company is more concerned with saving money by hiring H1B1 visa employees than having a peaceful working environment, This companies culture has changed drastically since Indian management was installed at the top and most management has been replaced with Indians. They don't understand American culture and are very abusive to the good hard workers. This is a very bad place to work if you are not an of Asian descent. The racism is rampant in this company. If you were born in American this place is not for you. You will not be treated fairly.

DON’T DO IT

Pros

PTO, free food, ability to work remote.

Cons

Pay is below average and they compensate by giving away merchandise and having award ceremonies. If management doesn’t like you, you may not have any upward mobility and they will find a way to fire you. Depending on your department you may not be given the same opportunities to train for skills offered that may not be needed for your role but could help you advance in the company. The culture is very high school cliquish and the department I was in was not diverse enough. The on boarding process with the HR recruiter is horrific and unprofessional based on my experience and other employees I spoke with. Within the consumer operations division the LexisNexis pay is not commensurate on your skills or education. Promotions are based on who you know and who likes you they could careless how valuable you are as an employee. I would not recommended anyone I know to this division within the company.

Could be better

Pros

Good PTO Work schedule flexibility Work from home options (at manager discretion) Good 401K matching Family events 16 hours of PTO for community service Recycling events Global company Culturally diverse Nice campus Various clubs Training available (fees paid at discretion of mgr/dept)

Cons

Cost-cutting - customer service roles moved offshore. Customers find the company difficult to do business with. Internal technologies are outdated. Company emphasizes lateral movement. "Do more with less" attitude. Opportunity for promotion and financial growth is nearly non-existent, especially for tenured employees who have been told they are capped out. Compensation not competitive, especially annual bonus structure. 2-3% cost of living increase given annually. This is the maximum if you've had outstanding performance. Health insurance options expensive. Costs increase each year...absorbing small cost of living increase. Management often over-worked, ineffective and/or unprofessional Internal and external application/hiring process frustrating; lack of communication. Slow/no response by HR for qualified referrals (Sr Accountant and Account Manager). I will no longer recommend the company to friends.
