Great place for brown nosers!

Pros

Great place for brown nosers. You don't have to do actual work, just stroke the correct egos and use buzz words in meetings, or just ask random questions (with no real weight to them)during area meetings. Bring up problems, dont worry about solutions, not the point to fix anything. Unlimited vacation

Cons

Finding the correct person whose ego to stroke may take some time. Software management is clueless on how to run a software organization. They have no future roadmap (v2.0 of current SW does not count). Mgmt team has no desire to grow employees. Work from home is DISCOURAGED, even though they claim it as a perk. Working from home is held against you in very subtle ways (general meetings will not provide call in info, you will be ignored when you do come to office). Work from home employees are often an afterthought. Pay is below the national average for roles. Pay raises, bonuses are sometimes non-existent. Pay raises fall below cost of life raise percentage. Lexmark is a good ol' boy club.

Pros

Work Life balance is excellent, unlimited vacation.

Cons

Upper management has no idea what they are doing. Tons of money wasted buying companies followed by multiple rounds of layoffs. Now owned by a Chinese consortium.

Pros

Unlimited vacation Flexibility to work from home Some really fun people are here Great new building

Cons

It is VERY difficult to get a promotion around here. For some reason, they will promote other people higher and higher in Management simply because they've been around for a long time. The influence from the Kofax CEO is toxic. It is clear that he is counting the days until they can become Kofax again
