      Pros

      You will learn the fundamentals of your field and get a good idea of how a Fortune 500 company works.

      Cons

      It is difficult to be promoted or get a raise because they are very tight on budgets. Negotiate a good salary when you get hired because there are very few raises. Also, managers are very territorial and you may sometimes feel like you're working for the government or a large bureaucracy.

      Pros

      As a sales representative one can feel isolated from what's going on at corporate headquarters. However, I have found that this company has done a good job of making sure we have multiple avenues to communicate to home base and resolve issues quickly.

      Cons

      The recent reduction in benefits such as tuition reimbursement, fit for life, and matching grants and scholarships for non profits of our choice due to the reccession.
