      Pros

      The company used to be called Perceptive Software and the culture and product and team synergy was awesome. It was definitely one of the best work experiences I've had.

      Cons

      The company was recently purchased and another company that was bought along the way is absorbing everyone and there have been layoffs and technology shifts that move towards making rapid money fast and no care for a leading quality product.

      Pros

      The people that work at Lexmark are what make it worth it. Everyone cares about each other and creating innovative work.

      Cons

      With the company being sold off to the Chinese, the entire community has changed. The organization has been flipped upside down and is moving back to solely selling hardware... honestly a dying industry. If people aren't leaving they are being released from their jobs left and right. Change is good but I only see Lexmark going downhill from here.

      GREAT people. Very smart people - could put a man on mars if needed!

      Cons

      Senior management has squandered the talent and let too much go. So worried about being politically correct, we're promoting the wrong people into senior positions. It's sad to see such a great company dying.
