Be wary if you're not a straight white christian
Pros
It's about the biggest tech company in central Kentucky, so it's the go to place to apply. The pay is good for the region, but a bit low for the skills and job title.
Cons
As mentioned, the pay is decent for the region, but between 10-30% or maybe more lower than the same job will get you in a proper tech city. But my biggest complaint by far was the cliquish behavior and the ostracizing of people who weren't straight Christians. The QA department was having mandatory prayer before team events. Not mandatory moment of silence, but actual lead group prayer. Their advice to anyone who might think it was inappropriate was to "plug your ears". That stopped after some HR involvement, but the department was still dominated by religiousness. Most social conversation was church or church activities. And if you weren't Christian, or weren't straight, you were eventually shunned, and only spoken to about work and nothing else. While it may not be universal, other departments suffer similarly. Employees have been cautioned to not display Pride flags or left leaning political messages for their own safety. Not sure if safety meant employment security or physical safety. I never felt physically unsafe, but I did not feel secure in my position due to the environment.
