Pros

Excellent opportunities at good companies Many companies treat you like standard employees Pay is fairly competitive

Cons

Benefits are insulting You get in trouble if they hear about you possibly working for the company you're embedded at, or asking about working for that company, or entertaining the idea of working at that company

Pros

There are no pros. I mean, unless you enjoy a crappy work environment.

Cons

Treated like crap unless you are in the manager's "clique". There are NO processes in place, yet we get yelled at on at least a weekly basis for doing something wrong, or even just simply asking a question. No room for growth. DON'T try to get hired on at the client site either. They will not support you.

I appreciate your feedback and I’m sorry that your experience with Liaison was less than positive. Our employees play a significant role in the success of both our clients and Liaison, so your employee satisfaction is very important to us. Liaison is committed to a healthy and productive work environment for all of our employees and we regret that you did not experience that commitment more fully during your short time with us. We encourage an open line of communication between our employees and the Liaison leadership team to discuss any issues or concerns that may arise onsite. We also encourage our employees to take advantage of our confidential Employee Assistance Hotline should they wish to speak with someone outside of our HR, management or operations teams for guidance. And as the owner of the company, I am always available and very willing to discuss any concerns our employees have. Thanks again for your feedback. It reminds us that we must constantly strive to deliver a superior employment experience for everyone on our team. Sincerely, Dave Claunch, President and Owner

Pros

Compared to other contracting companies, Liaison is great. Decent salaries, really good benefits - vacation, health care, 401K, etc. They are very friendly and helpful when you email them to ask questions.

Cons

There are no performance reviews - neither from Liaison nor from the "client" (Dell, 3M, AMD, whoever). There are some awesome, hard-working, results-producing Liaisonians at this particular client where I work, and only 1 has gotten a raise over the last 3 years. And she said it was an ordeal/fight to get it. There should be a way to get 1) a regular performance review, and 2) a raise. It's demoralizing to work so hard continually and not get recognized or rewarded.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. It is good to get this feedback so we can try to address these things with our client. We know it can be difficult when you don't get the feedback you seek. Unfortunately, we are often at the mercy of our clients for this information. Sometimes when we request feedback, we simply don't receive it. We tell these employees that the client must be happy or we would hear about it and we give feedback from the Liaison perspective about performance and attitude. As for the majority of our accounts, I conduct annual performance reviews with our employees. I assure you that feedback is provided from peers, clients and our onsite managers to these employees. When possible we discuss budget and rate increases. I believe I know which client you supported and we will continue to try to get feedback from them and explain the importance of people understanding if their work is meeting expectations or if there is an opportunity for improvement. I'm sorry we couldn't get you what you needed in this area and am glad that your experience other that that has been a good one. Please reach out anytime if there is something we can do to help you and thanks for your hard work!
