Pros

Coworkers, team managers and zone managers are all amazing. I did feel supported and I felt like I could bring up anything to my manager and she would help. Training and coaches are also awesome. The company cares for its employees (for the most part) and will help with anyone struggling or not grasping it.

Cons

Extremely high workload, difficult customers can make the job tough, benefits are expensive for the high deductible plan. Senior management is also where the company could improve. Too many changes with having adjusters do things to obviously train AI to do more parts of the job down the line. Restructuring and layoffs occurred and job security did not feel great at times.

Pros

Set up in a way that your work is handled when you are gone for even just a couple days. I enjoy full time work from home. I used to really love this role but it has changed over the last 2 years.

Cons

Everything else. Micromanaged. Subjective system of reviewing policy decisions, which are inconsistent across managers completing the audits. These audits impact our end of year results and thus yearly raises. Raises never more than 1.5-2% anymore. There’s no legitimate dispute process. The one that was implemented, will reject your request with no feedback as to why it wasn’t accepted. Severely understaffed yet unwilling to hire additional help even if it’s temporary from other departments. Management no longer shows any trust in its employees. Has turned into a full blown call center. Toxic work environment. Threatening employees of 20+ years tenure to lose jobs over auditing process. No time to focus on role as a career, and feels simply like a job.
