Pros

-Incredible Culture and Values -Good Benefits and Learning Oppurtunities

Cons

Note that the reviews on here are heavily skewed positive, and that is because the organization encourages employees to write only positive reviews. If you have a negative view or concern about the organization, they would rather you not share that and instead talk to your leader so they can be "addressed." Sadly, no addressing happens other than labeling you as a troublemaker and just another disgruntled employee that can't “cut it.”. Starting a job here begins as a dream come true. Everything you wanted in a job seems to become a reality instantly. However, that quickly fades as you learn the way things run. This has to be the most clicky and uncivil workplaces that I have ever worked. As stated in other reviews, Life.Church demands a lot of its employees, and that can't be said enough. A lot is required of you, and you quickly will become worn out, burnt out, and drained. Life.Church is a nightmare in regards to HR policies. I have lost count of the examples of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and other abusive behavior that I encountered. This place is a textbook definition of a hostile work environment if you happen to get on the bad side of someone with influence over others. Retaliation is enormous here, so be careful what you say and who you say it to. You can't speak up based on what you know to be legally protected because this is a church organization, so many state and federal workplace laws don't apply. The workplace environment here is severely inappropriate, and there are no boundaries between your personal life and your professional life. I even brought concerns to the Group Leader of HR, and she diminished my issues, and then I was the one that got punished in the long run. Remember what I said about retaliation? The way situations are handled from an HR perspective goes against many state and federal workplace laws. Just know that this place can be great, but it can also be an inappropriate and uncivil workplace environment, and you will have no real protection legally.

Pros

Life church is an exceptional church to belong to and an even more expceptional place to work! I love that we indentify, recruit and develop people who have the raw potiential to be incredible leaders! We've learned to be able to see high potiential in people and the clearest indicator of that is passion for the mission of leading people to Jesus. Salary increases are directly related to the effort YOU put in to making things/yourself better! Benefits are OUTSTANDING! (AND, our Central Team is always looking for ways to make both our costs lower and benefits better!) Development and growth is almost impossible to avoid. Everyone including leadership is always looking to find their "next step"... all while realzing that perfection is the enemy of better! Every day is a WORK DAY! We make incredble team memories together while living out the greatest calling in the world! PEOPLE will always be the single most important driving force behind everyting we do!

Cons

We often work long hours in certain times of the year. Things happen at such a fast pace that often times communication can come in various ways and timelines. This may leave you feeling somewhat overwhelmed. If you're not flexible, you may be frustrated by constantly evolving systems. We aren't to afriad to change things up immediately if they aren't working.
