Pros

Amazing mission, countless opportunities for personal growth, healthy culture, co-workers and leaders that care about you as a person, exceptional benefits. The leadership here is very passionate about investing in the team and it shows.

Cons

You need to be a good culture fit and passionate about our mission to make it here. The pace is fast and rigorous, and you'll be expected to do whatever it takes. If you aren't called to this, then you won't be happy here. If you're willing to work hard to reach people for Jesus, then it's the best job in the world.

Thank you for sharing your review! We agree it is a calling, not a job. The work we’re called to do is demanding! We believe it’s the most important work we can do here on Earth. To do that work, it’s crucial to steward our time, energy, and resources well, and we encourage our staff members to do that in a variety of ways to avoid burnout. We rely heavily on volunteers to help push our mission forward, we provide very competitive benefits, and we offer a wide variety of learning opportunities to help team members make the most of what God has given them.

Pros

The mission of Life.Church is what drew me to apply and the last 3 years have been the most fulfilling and inspiring years of my life. I have loved being a part of seeing kids and families grow closer to God and to each other. The relationships I have built with other staff members, my volunteer team, and our attenders fill my tank each week. If you are someone who loves to work hard, love people in the middle of the mess, and see lives changed every week, you would love being a part of the mission of Life.Church!

Cons

This is not a con, but we are a high feedback culture that places value on work ethic and flexibility. If you are not motivated and can’t see yourself pouring your blood, sweat, and tears (literally) into loving people and doing anything short of sin to reach people for Christ, Life.Church is not your best fit.
