Pros

I'm Leaving!!! I can't think of anything good to say about LifeStorage other than GOOD BYE!!! Other Pros would include CLOCKING OUT FOR GOOD!!!

Cons

LifeStorage will NOT assist you in furthering your career as a Manager! LifeStorage will hire you in as a manager but treat you like a janitor! I have NEVER worked for a company that extended so little compassion & care to their employees. Please do yourself a favor & Steer clear of this place!!!

Pros

-better pay than most self storage company's -good benefits -commission is challenging, yet achievable -buildings are well maintained and the best in the industry - I have learned a lot about properties and building management - district managers are always supportive - schedule of work. No late nights

Cons

-company was sold to Uncle Bob's. I hope we are able to keep our culture in tact as we will now be governed by a publicly traded company. -not many paid holidays - if you don't achieve your goals you get "0" monthly commission. Those months can be tough

Pros

Give a ways at holidays, nice office, easy parking, really no other Pros to working here.

Cons

Bonus structure is at the whim of the managers and changes monthly without notification. Board members have sexual relations with call center supervisors, and promote through sexual/ family relationships. Instructed to lie to customers about the requirements of buying rental insurance. Trained to tell customers that it is a "law" they have to buy insurance. This in itself is illegal. Requires CCR's to lie to customers about their physical location, pretending to be at stores while all calls are directed to a call center in suburban Buffalo NY location.
