While your title may be Personal Trainer, your main job is to sell their overpriced products. Here's how the pay really works: you only make money for the time you spend training a client. You are expected to work set hours, so if you have nobody to train, you are pulling a draw (Lifetimes loan). This money has to be paid back when you start making money. What does that mean for you? That means you are volunteering your time, not getting paid a wage to be there. In that free time you donate, you will be expected to give free training sessions to new members, clean equipment, and stay busy with little tasks. You will have weekly meetings discussing, selling more product and pushing unneeded things like Detox and Lab Testing. You will not talk about the lives you are changing, by helping clients hit their fitness goals.
My advice, if you are a hard core salesperson and don't mind upselling people things they don't need, this is the place for you. If you enjoy training more than sales, and care about people, stay away!
