Pros

- Free membership - Nice, big clubs. - Most folks you encounter are nice. - You have employment. - If you drink enough kool-aid, you may go places in the company.

Cons

- Poor, narcissistic management from top to bottom. - As a requirement for employment, management makes all employees memorize a phony mission and vision statement, they themselves do not follow. It's like joining an occult rather then a company. - Say "goodbye" to friends and family, your life is work. - Poorly written, and purposely vague employee manual. - 7 days PTO, per year, that's it! If you get the flu and can't work for a week, your vacation time is gone! - Prepare to work the equivalent of 2-3 employees, that's how they save on payroll. - Employee beware, the GM does not tell you your complete job responsibility at the time of the interview...on purpose. - If you think you are earning a set salary, think again. After you calculate all the extra hours you will be made to work, you'll be lucky to make minimum wage. - Turnover is rampant. - After a while it seems less like you are working at a health club, but more like a prison. - You are forced to clean the parking lot at no pay. - Everyone seems miserable. - The powers use the word "artistry" to the point of nauseum. (Its actually the name of a huge golden statue they worship at the home office, no kidding!)

Pros

- Usage of a luxury athletic gym. You will never want to leave. - Connections through members. These are business owners, doctors, socialites, influencers, lawyers, tech enthusiasts, engineers, real estate agents and more. Make a genuine connection. - Great culture and relationship between coworkers - Decent entry level pay-- Level I: $12-$15, Level II: $16-$19, Lead Level III and regular Level III: $20-$25.

Cons

- Company does not show their value for their tenure employees through enough $ based on the current economy - Department leaders are under too much stress from upper management. Translates into them stressing their TM's - PTO does not accrue fast enough. Sick days per year are about 2 full shifts. Don't get sick! - Not enough mentorship or guidance in Concierge if you are wanting to work your way up. Favorites have better chances. - The pay is hard to live on if you are independent without any roommates or partner helping with finances.

Pros

Responsive to my technical & office needs. They provided very high-end workstations for me to perform my job.

Cons

Ironically, "The Healthy Way of Life Company" was the most unhealthy job I've ever had. Unbelievable pressure to perform = high stress. The woman in the cubical next to mine had been reduced to tears on more than one occasion, and quit after 3 weeks. I quit after 3 months. Departmental Leaders were self-professed, unapologetic, adrenaline junkies, and expected the same from everyone. If you "under-perform", you're dispensable.
