Pros

Decent pay for what is being asked of you. As long as you do what is asked it is unique work invorment with most co-workers being really awesome. The work is really great in that you are helping many people around the world.

Cons

Biggest dissadvantage is most supervisors in my opinion. They ask for suggestions but they will just ignore your suggestions or make it seems like it was their suggestion in the first place and take the credit. Also, they want you to improve and do more. However, when the evaluations come they only see what you did wrong and not the good things. They will mark you down much more than mark you up for your contributions. One example was this one guy that trained new employees and helped create a new product amongst other things all after hours. Yet he still could not make more than a 3.8 out of 5 on his evaluations. So why even bother. They talk about going to other departments but in reallity you will most likely just always be in the smae department. yes, it is possible to get a raise and go up the ladder but only in your department, unless you know the heads of the company. This is not just in one of the tissue processing deparments, but accross all of them.

Pros

The health benefits are okay

Cons

I have never experienced as much sexism as I have here at Lifenet. They put men on the machines and woman to clean rooms/do paperwork. If you make a complaint about sexual harassment they treat you like it's your fault ! Most leadership here is men, no diversity !
