Pros

If you were hired with your workmates from a hospital that HSCG manages, they try to keep you working together. Benefits are were fair and what I expected, especially PTO. We used the 3M encoder. I had an awesome coding manager. I received a fair severance package.

Cons

HSCGP eliminated my and other outpatient coding positions and outsourced these positions overseas. HSCGP also pro-dated the hire date to 6/27/2021, eliminating PTO earned from LifePoint, for which HSCGP managed the revenue cycle. Some part of the software was down/inoperable usually every day, and coders had to try to account for that in productivity which was difficult when it happens every day. HSCGP, LLC did not offer a competitive per-hour wage,

I think it depends on who you work with,

Cons

management is horrible from the CEO to the unit manager. There is alot of favoritism and the rules change from one day to the next. There is a new pay system that is very difficult to understand and shorts people in pay often.
