Hostile takeover

Pros

The pay is generally a tiny bit better than other facilities but you will feel like you sold your soul.

Cons

It is very evident that it is a for-profit corporation that is in charge. All they care about is the change in GG scores. We receive so much pressure to blur ethical lines and make sure that people are meeting their score goals. They don't really care about whether those scores represent actual functional gain. Your HR is all online. It is nightmare to try and speak to someone about benefits and when you do, you get bounced around between so many different people and it takes forever. Lifepoint is a large corporation going around the country purchasing Rehab facilities and it's ruining healthcare in my opinion. No support for therapists. Also, they talk a lot about their network and how they can bring so many patients in but we are regularly overstaffed and required to flex off without pay which equals to loss of thousands of dollars of income per year. I am 1.0 and I could say that only work 40 hours about 35 maybe 40 weeks a year.

Pros

Facility staff are pleasant and kind.

Cons

Leadership shifts frequently. Senior executives do not like to be questioned and seem to be hiring/promoting incompetent candidates.

Lots of Promises, Few Kept

Pros

Good co-workers, mid-level management average

Cons

Upper management not honest, does not keep promises, always looks towards working employees as hard as possible with minimal pay. Unless you are a nurse, you will be promised a lot, and then they will find a reason not to deliver on their promises. Will give bonuses and raises to some employees and tell others that no one is getting a raise or give bonuses to certain employees and swear them to secrecy so no one else will know even while not keeping the promise to other employees on a promised raise or salary adjustment.
