Pros

The co-workers and doctor are great.

Cons

Benefits are predatory. They take sick time out our pay from PTO. We never are able to use. For yrs we would have to use two PTO days before you could use 1 sick day. So you would have to miss three days to earn one sick day. That has changed this yr for the better. We now receive a sick day for each day missed. But those of who have been here for yrs, and have hundreds of hours will never be able to use them. Basically they are stealing thousands of dollars from their employees. Also If you cash out PTO they take a cut before taxes are deducted.

-making an impact on patient’s recovery -therapy manager/team is wonderful

Cons

-unrealistic productivity -nursing focused admin limits therapy resources -solely focused on increasing caseloads without considering patient outcomes or clinician burnout -weekends/holidays -no overtime -low compensation packages -no sick leave, only accrued PTO -limited availability for PTO
