Pros

• Good pay for the role • Flexible scheduling • The residents made the job meaningful and rewarding

Cons

• Disciplinary actions feel inconsistent and unfair • Staff don’t get the support they need to care for residents • Constant management turnover — you often don’t know who your boss is • Local leaders have no real authority; corporate makes all the decisions • Resident and family input is ignored in favor of corporate policies • Morale is very low, and staff burnout is common • Policies are different from one building to another, causing confusion • Asking for help often leads to being blamed instead of supported • Company seems more focused on making money than providing quality care

We appreciate you sharing your feedback. First and foremost, we want to acknowledge the difficult circumstances surrounding your departure and express our thanks for your four years of dedicated service to Lifespark and the seniors we serve. We recognize that layoffs are incredibly hard, and we regret the impact this has had on you and your colleagues. We pride ourselves on hiring top talent and know we had to let go exceptional people. Workforce reductions are never taken lightly, and this decision was made with great consideration in response to broader organizational and industry challenges. We understand that this doesn't make the experience any easier, and we are deeply sorry for the disruption it caused. Please know we welcome the opportunity to speak to you personally about your experience.
